At BioSyntex, we provide technology & services for the cultivation of photosynthetic microorganisms (microalgae and cyanobacteria).

Our interdisciplinary team is made up of biologists, biotechnologists, physicists and engineers who work together with universities and strategic partners to promote the use of microalgae as an alternative natural source with high added value for the Food & Beverage, Agricultural, Cosmetic, Pharmaceutical, Nutraceutical and Food industries.

BioSyntex was awarded two State Calls for Proposals (Smart & Start and Patents+) issued by Invitalia S.p.A. in 2020 and 2021, amounting to approximately EUR 950,000 and EUR 150,000 respectively.
